"Antonio Cordici" Museum Pole was founded in 1876 to host archeological findings belonging to local family collections, such as Coppola and Hernandez. Its original location was in the Municipal Library. Since 2011 the Museum has been housed in the larger premises of St.Francis´ convent.
There are different sections: Archeological, Decorative Arts, Weapons, Paintings and Sculptures as well as Contemporary Arts and Temporary exhibitions. Its best work of art is "L´annunciazione" by Antonello Gagini (1525) coming from the church of Carmine.
